Today, there is time

Sometimes, life is simple:

You can continue staring at reflections of the life you wish you lived, or you can break through the glass barrier and live the world you envision.  The choice is yours each moment of each day.

Prompted Belief

Inspiration oozes from all corners of the world.  Sometimes it’s real, sometimes it’s imagined.  This time, it’s virtual!  Five 2 One Magazine put out a Twitter prompt inviting sixteen word stories or poems answering the question: where are these folk coming from?

Of course, I would never stay within a box (or a prompt, or a word count).  It’s just an imagined confinement, after all!  But I was inspired:

We are a product of our beliefs.  (Believe me a80dc69abd484b14602cd3d91a717cbf .) So go forth and re-believe!

Do you have a micro-poem or micro-story in response to the prompt?  I’d love to read it!  Share it in the comments, post it on Twitter, and let your voice be heard!

And the winner is . . .

This week, the six word stories entered in Sometimes Stellar Storyteller were filled with knives, daggers, and exclamation points abound.  What else would you expect from the prompt “insult?!”

Winning third is truly an honor . . .

though do you also get the sense that winning an “insult” competition is perhaps, in and of itself, a sly insult?  Ah, never mind!  It’s all in good fun on this site.
